From "Before You Meet Prince Charming" by Sarah Mally
In many ways your heart is like a garden. It needs to be protected and kept clean. The good- the beauty, placed there by our heavenly Father- needs to be nurtured. Any pollution needs to be removed. And all enemies- and there are many coming in all shapes and forms must be kept away.
A truly guarded heart must have no vacancies- no empty spaces that need to be filled, no voids that leave open places and room for the enemy to get in. When God asks for our heart, He asks for all of it. He wants to fill every part with Himself. He completes us. Only when we are completely satisfied with Him will we be able to selflessly give of our lives for others.
I hope this is a blessing to you!
Have a blessed night!
Because He lives,
Karla

Learning Patience
This actually goes with the post I did last week"Grabbers, Hidden Flowers, and Princesses."
Patience is crucial. Even when a little pressure is kind, polite, and thoughtful, it still is taking control.
A Caution: Desperation leads to becoming a grabber.

Grabbers, Hidden Flowers, and Princesses
The kind of female you are will determine the kind of male you attract.
A Caution: If you want a husband that is not a pervert, then act like a princess so as to attract a good, wholesome prince.

On another note: Some of you may have noticed an old post that was published today. That was by accident. I was trying to fix some of the labeling.

In Pursuit...
In Pursuit Of Happily Ever After: As a single girl, actively pursue an aggressive life of ministry, learning, and serving.
A Caution: Be patient and wait upon the Lord (and your man).
-Taken from"Preparing To Be a Help Meet
Your ministry should be to your family and younger girls. We have to set a virtuous example for those younger girls. They look up to us and are counting on us to influence them in an appropriate and righteous way. So, I suggest examining your actions, motives and attitudes. You can push them towards Christ or towards the Devil. You have a choice to let the Lord use you or not. It would be wrong to hide your light under a bushel. Our light is supposed to shine for all to see.
Matthew 5:16, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Never quit learning. It is good to always be learning. With learning our thinking should change and how we handle situations. We'll never know it all but knowledge leads to wisdom.
Serving others is also important. Jesus is a perfect example of that. We should have a servants heart. For without it how then will we be willing to serve the Lord? By serving others you become humble. Remember J-O-Y( Jesus, Others, You) in that exact order.
Note: Your man may be slow in coming into your life but that just means the Lord is saying that it isn't time for either of you. You still have some growing and learning to do in order to be ready for that exact moment. Don't lose heart. Keep your head down and be busy doing what you're supposed to be doing. And remember you already have a Beloved and that is Jesus Christ. Let Him fill the place of husband. You can say, "My Beloved is mine!"
Haven of Rest by the Gloryland Girls (Here's a beloved hymn to enjoy. One of my most favourite hymns. It is so precious to me.)
I hope this is an encouragement to y'all. May the Lord bless you.
My Beloved Jesus is Mine,
Karla

Remember Again!
As you run hard and fast after Jesus, look to the left and to the right and marry the man who is running beside you.
Are you running hard and fast after Jesus or are you just sitting around being spiritual? Running is doing. Get started doing what the Lord would want you to do & get acquainted with those in your circle.

Sit Still By J. Danson Smith
Sit still, my daughter! Just sit calmly still!
Nor deem these days, these waiting days, as ill!
The One who loves thee best, who plans thy way,
Hath not forgotten thy great need today!
And, if He waits, 'tis sure he waits to prove
To thee, His tender child, His heart's deep love.
Sit still, my daughter! Just sit calmly still!
Thou longest much to know thy dear Lord's will!
While anxious thoughts would almost steal their way
Corrodingly within, because of His delay-
Persuade thyself in simple faith to rest
That He, who knows and loves, will do the best.
Sit still, my daughter! Just sit calmly still!
Nor move one step, not even one, until
His way hath opened. Then, ah then, how sweet!
How glad thy heart, and then how swift thy feet
Thy inner being then, ah then, how strong!
And waiting days not counted then too long.
Sit still, my daughter! Just sit calmly still!
What higher service could'st thou for Him fill?
'Tis hard! Ah, yes! But choicest things must cost!
For lack of losing all how much is lost!
'Tis hard, 'tis, true! But then-He giveth grace
To count the hardest spot the sweetest place.

when Naomi says to her "Sit still, my daughter, until thou
know how the matter will fall..."

A Prayer for Womanhood
Hello! I found this on a blog over on xanga
and thought I'd share this with you.
A Prayer for Womanhood
God, give each true good woman
Her own small house to keep,
No heart should ache with longing,
No hurt should go too deep.....
Grant her age-old desire:
A house to love and sweep.
Give her a man beside her,
A kind man, and a true,
And let them work together
And love, a lifetime through,
And let her mother children
As gentle women do.
Give her a shelf for dishes,
And a shining box for bread,
A white cloth for her table,
And a white spread for her bed,
A shaded lamp at nightfall,
And a row of books much read.
God, let her work with laughter,
And let her rest with sleep.
No life can truly offer
A peace more sure and deep....
God, give each true woman
Her own small house to keep
